Answer to Question 1

Identify resident wildlife and the areas they presently inhabit, determine the ecological requirements of resident wildlife, determine those factors most limiting to resident wildlife, determine what critical habitats, if any, will be destroyed by the proposed brush control project, determine the longevity of the proposed project, evaluate the impacts of similar brush control projects in areas where they have been applied, coordinate the project with the needs of resident wildlife as much as possible, monitor the response of resident wildlife to the brush control treatment after its application.
