Answer to Question 1

2. Educate the public about the profession.

Rationale:
Many people do not understand that nursing is a separate profession from the medical profession. One reason that nursing research is undertaken is to ensure the credibility of the nursing profession as separate from medicine with the potential to make valuable contributions to client care. Nursing research validates nursing, not medicine. Nursing research is not established to compare products but to improve client care. Nursing research does not seek to support the medical profession but the nursing profession.

Answer to Question 2

3. Yoga

Rationale:
Yoga is considered a complementary therapy used to reduce stress and improve circulation. Jogging, weight lifting, and bicycling may or may not help improve the client's diagnosis of peripheral vascular disease.
