For persons with multiple sexual partners who do not use barriers, it is recommended that sexually transmitted infection screening be done at least annually. This would include testing for HIV.

This is followed by specific suggestions on how to handle a sexual concern. The model ends with intensive therapy which should be performed by a certified sex therapist.
