Answer to Question 1

D
Anticipatory grief is the occurrence of grief work before an expected loss. This type of grief may lead to family members' distancing themselves and not being able to provide support. Dysfunctional grief is when the person experiencing the grief does not progress through the stages or fails to demonstrate the behaviors commonly associated with grief. Disenfranchised grief contributes to dysfunctional grief. It is grief experienced in situations where grief is discouraged and social supports are absent. Unresolved grief is the outcome from dysfunctional and disenfranchised grief.
