Answer to Question 1

D
The disengagement theory states that there is decreased interaction between the older person and others in his or her social system. The disengagement is inevitable, mutual, and acceptable to both the individual and society.

Answer to Question 2

A
Intrarenal ARF occurs when tissue damage of the glomeruli, tubules, or both causes a loss of renal function. Glomerulonephritis and acute tubular necrosis are the main reasons for renal tissue damage. The glomeruli become more permeable, so red blood cells and protein enter the urine.
