Answer to Question 1

C
The principal manifestations of asthma are the sudden onset of wheezing, increasing dyspnea, and chest tightness; initial increase in respiratory rate, which decreases as the client tires; and use of accessory muscles to aid respiration. Cough, cyanosis, increased blood pressure and heart rate, and anxiety may also occur. The client needs to be evaluated by a health care provider immediately.

Answer to Question 2

C
A large-volume enema is designed to clean the colon of as much feces as possible. Place the client in a left side-lying position with the right leg sharply flexed. This facilitates the flow of the fluid into the colon.
