Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
Lowering the primary solution container 10 in. below the height of the secondary solution uses gravity to infuse the secondary medication solution rather than the primary solution. Instilling the secondary infusion within the specified time is done by checking the drop factor on the package of secondary tubing and calculating the rate for infusion. The nurse does not regulate the rate of infusion by means of raising or lowering the secondary bag.

Answer to Question 2

C
The function that provides the body with a means of gas exchange is respiration.

Your skin wrinkles if you stay in the bathtub a long time because the outermost layer of skin (which consists of dead keratin) swells when it absorbs water. It is tightly attached to the skin below it, so it compensates for the increased area by wrinkling. This happens to the hands and feet because they have the thickest layer of dead keratin cells.
