The extended survival period is the period during which a client has ended the basic, rigorous course of treatment and is going through a phase of watchful waiting. This is usually a period of physical limitations. Fatigue and hair loss are part of the symptoms of this phase.
Fear of recurrence is a symptom associated with the extended survival period.
