Answer to Question 1

C
School-age children's diets should be carefully assessed for adequate protein and vitamins A and C. School-age children frequently fail to eat a proper breakfast, and have unsupervised intake at school.
An increase in B-complex vitamins is needed to support heightened metabolic activity of the ad-olescent, but not the school-age child.
The pregnant woman needs to increase iron intake significantly, but the school-age child does not.
Increased energy needs are expected in the adolescent period, not in the school-age group. Therefore an 8-year-old child does not need to increase carbohydrates to meet increased energy needs.

Answer to Question 2

B
Sounds heard during auscultation over the trachea should be loud, high-pitched, and hollow.
Soft, low-pitched, and breezy sounds are heard over the lung's periphery.
Loud and bubbling sounds are adventitious breath sounds heard on inspiration not cleared by coughing.
Squeak-like musical sounds are wheezes. Wheezes can be heard continuously during inspiration and expiration.
