Answer to Question 1

ANS: A
Of the currently available neuromuscular blockers, doxacurium, pipecuronium, cisatracurium, and vecuronium are essentially devoid of clinically significant cardiovascular effects. These are the drugs of choice for patients with unstable cardiovascular profiles.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: A, D, E, G
Acidosis, beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, and magnesium sulfate all can potentiate the effects of neuromuscular blockers, whereas the other factors have an antagonistic effect in re-sponse to neuromuscular blockers.
