Answer to Question 1

ANS: D
Some symptoms associated with interferon alfa may be reduced with acetaminophen.
Oxygen does not minimize side effects, nor does providing antiemetics because nausea is not a side effect.
Whether the nurse would lower the temperature may depend on the patient's preference, which is not indicated.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: B, C
The patient's muscle mass will decrease, and adipose tissue will increase.
The patient may also experience a decreased libido and impotence.
Leuprolide does not cause either bone loss or bone gain.
