A patient has taken five or six nitroglycerin tablets a day to prevent chest pain for more than 2 years. His health care provider has recommended that he decrease the amount of medication he takes a day to no more than three tablets.
 
  How should the patient reduce his medication? 1. Stop taking the medication all at once.
  2. Take one fewer tablet every 2 months.
  3. Gradually cut down over a period of time.
  4. Take the medication once a week.

Question 2

A teaching plan is scheduled to deliver specific content during a session. Should the nurse interrupt the planned content for unrelated but important questions during the session?
