The indications for treatment with dalfopristin/quinupristin are vancomycin-resistant E. faecium and methicillin-resistant S. aureus or S. epidermidis.
UTI and PUD are not indications for treatment with dalfopristin/quinupristin.
A patient with hepatic failure should not receive this medication because it has hepatotoxic ef-fects.
