If this valve is damaged, contraction of the ventricle will push blood back into the left atrium and result in inadequate cardiac output. The pulmonic valve is located between the right ventricle and pulmonary artery. The aortic valve allows blood to flow from the left ventricle into the aorta. The tricuspid valve is the valve between the right atria and ventricle.
