A psychologist wishes to establish the reliability of a new IQ test that is
  based on a variety of brain measures (including neural conduction speed and the
  rate at which glucose in the brain is metabolized).
 
  These brain measures are
  factored together to provide a single scaled score for each subject. The
  subjects were randomly selected from a population of young adults and given the
  same brain test twice. The data are as follows:
