In constructing a multiple regression model with two independent variables x1 and x2 it was known that the correlation between x1 and y is .75, and the correlation between x2 and y is .55 . Based on this information, the regression model containing both independent variable will explain 65 of the variation in the dependent variable y.
Indicate whether the statement is true or false

Question 2

Though Candida and Aspergillus species are the most common fungal pathogens causing invasive fungal disease in the immunocompromised, infections due to previously uncommon hyaline and dematiaceous filamentous fungi are occurring more often today. Rare fungal infections, once accurately diagnosed, may require surgical debridement, immunotherapy, and newer antifungals used singly or in combination with older antifungals, on a case-by-case basis.
