Answer to Question 1

F

Answer to Question 2

A point estimate for a parameter is a single number designed to estimate a quantitative parameter of a population, usually the value of the corresponding sample statistic. An interval estimate is an interval bounded by two values and used to estimate the value of a population parameter. The values that bound the interval are statistics calculated from the sample that is being used as the basis for the estimation.
