Answer to Question 1

B. Combining students' SAT scores and high school GPAs provides the best prediction of how well the students will do in their first year of college.

FEEDBACK:
This is a paraphrased quote from the video. It states: The College Board calls the SAT test essential because: combining test scores with a student's high school GPA offers the best prediction of how well a college freshman will do in their first year.

Answer to Question 2

A. Risk of a heart attack of those with close community ties: 0.08 . Risk of a heart attack of those without close community ties: 0.10.

FEEDBACK:
While the description of the reduction in risk is fairly typical in this video, it's really hard to interpret. Usually, a reduction in risk is expressed as a percentage change. That is, if they report the risk was reduced by 22, that means that if the risk in one group was, say, .10, the risk in the other groups is .10 - .22.10, or .08 . This is typical because often the risk is low in the first place, so saying the risk is reduced by 22 sounds like a much larger reduction than saying the risk was reduced from 10 to 8 (an absolute reduction of 2.) In general, these numbers are very hard to express and even harder to interpret.
