ANS: A brdung is a series of accelerating strikes on a cymbal. Through the
excerpt they are arranged in set patterns that leave shorter and shorter gaps between each
series creating an acceleration of the brdungs themselves.

ANS: Urtyn duu are known for their free rhythms, wide vocal ranges, and
elaborate ornamentation.
