Answer to Question 1

on the tonic or home pitch similar to the Amen in Christian hymns.

Answer to Question 2

The melody is made up of only two note values, one long, the other short.
The pitches of the melodic phrases move down in a descending direction.
There is a rattle/drum accompaniment, but the melody is harmonically unaccompanied and consists of vocables (wordless syllables).
