With reference to tempo,
 
  A. CD 1:17 is in a more strictly measured tempo than CD 1:18.
  B. CD 1:17 is in a faster tempo than CD 1:18.

ANS: C. CD 1:18 is in a more strictly measured tempo than CD 1:17.

Answer to Question 2

 Their communal singing wakes the forest and restores their balance with nature.
 Their improvised polyphony reinforces communal life and cooperation, while at the same time developing individual identity.
 Particular individuals (musicians) involved with the creation and transmission of their music-culture stand out within the community.
