 Material culture refers to the material objects that people in a culture produceobjects that can be seen, held, felt and used.
 Examples of the material culture of music include musical instruments (or historical pictures of them), sheet music, instruction books, and more recently, devices that electronically disseminate music (phonographs, television, CDs, computers, and so on).
