A heat transfer process results in 17 kilocalories of heat being removed from one liter (1 kilogram) of water. What temperature will the water be if it started at a temperature of 25C?

  A) 1 kilogram / 17 kilocalories = 0.059C T 25C - 0.059C = 24.041C
  B) 17 kilocalories - 1 kilogram = 16C T 25C + 16C = 41C
  C) 17 kilocalories/1 kilogram = 17C T 25C + 17C = 42C
  D) 17 kilocalories/1 kilogram = 17C T 25C - 17C = 8C
