Answer to Question 1

The length of a screw is given from the tip of the screw to the base of the head of the screw or level with the top for flat head screws and the diameter of a screw is given as a standard number.

Increased pressure drop across the air filter increases the overall pressure that the fan must move air against, reducing system airflow.
