Answer to Question 1

A disadvantage to this type of system is that the pressure inside the furnace vent is higher than the pressure in the building. Because of this, the vent system needs to be properly sealed to prevent leakage of combustion gases into the building.

Suction to liquid heat exchanger, evaporator pressure regulator, suction line filter, suction accumulator, crankcase pressure regulator, and oil level control
