Increase condenser pressure
Increase the compression ratio
Decrease the amount of refrigerant circulated
Reduce system capacity
Increase energy usage

In measuring vacuum, microns are measuring the height of a column of mercury that can be supported by the remaining absolute pressure. Microns measure how much pressure is left.
