Answer to Question 1

The DDC systems are often called energy management systems since one of their main functions, and usually justification for their adoption, is saving energy. Special provision has been made in the selection of sensors to make possible continuous monitoring of the energy usage. The control system is set up to energize loads only when necessary and to use such features as free cooling
