That the correct nozzle size has been selected for desired input rate. All shipping supports are removed.
Power wiring is properly connected. Control wiring is properly connected. Blower access door is secured in place. Valve on the oil supply line is open.

Reset button on the primary control is pushed down.

Flame observation door and all cleanout access covers are closed. The thermostat is set to HEAT at a temperature higher than the room.
