The most common set would have sockets sizes starting with 4 in. up to 1 in. by 8 in. or 16 in. increments. Common metric socket sets range from 6 mm up to 25 mm.

This final stage in manufacturing has a greater influence on the performance of a system than anything that the manufacturers can do. If the system is not installed with the correct size air duct systems, electrical wiring, and many other factors, the result can be in the system providing poor performance or reduction of its operational life.
