Choice of law clauses indicate which legal system has jurisdiction over contracts. If contracts do not have these clauses, but they contain an arbitration clause, then arbitrators have the right to choose which laws will apply to a contract, and the laws selected could be a combination of laws from different legal systems. The legal system selected does not have to be from a host nation, or the native country, of any of the parties to the contract.
