Answer to Question 1

A permanent magnet stepper motor using permanent magnets on the rotor and moves to align itself with unlike poles on the stator when current activates one of the stator magnets. A variable-reluctance stepper motor has a toothed rotor constructed from a magnetic material. As stator magnets are activated, the rotor moves to align its teeth with the magnetic field of the stator.

Answer to Question 2

The closed-loop horizontal geothermal heat pump system recirculates fluid (typically glucol) in long sections of plastic tubing, which is buried in horizontal trenches at approximately four to six feet deep The trenches must be placed far enough from each other to maximize the amount of heat transfer.

The closed-loop horizontal geothermal heat pump system recirculates glycol in vertical tubes that are approximately four inches in diameter and are drilled about 20 feet apart and 100400 feet deep. This saves land area for the installation. Two pipes are connected at the bottom so that fluid can go down one pipe and return through the other. The top of one of the pipes is connected to a feed water manifold, and the second pipe is connected to a return manifold.

An identified risk factor for osteoporosis is the intake of excessive amounts of vitamin A. Dietary intake of approximately double the recommended daily amount of vitamin A, by women, has been shown to reduce bone mineral density and increase the chances for hip fractures compared with women who consumed the recommended daily amount (or less) of vitamin A.
