The central core is about 330 km in radius. The innermost 240 km is solid; the rest, as well as the innermost 150 km of the surrounding inner mantle, is liquid. The rest of the inner mantle, 250 km worth, is semi-solid; the outer mantle is about 900 km thick and is solid. The solid crust varies in thickness from 60 to 150 km.
