An experiment was done where a primordial soup of water, methane, carbon dioxide and ammonia was electrified. Following this, the material was found to contain many of the amino acids found in all living things on Earth.

Although Sedna is probably not part of Pluto's Kuiper Belt, but a member of the even more distant and scattered Oort Cloud, the fact that it is almost as large as Pluto definitely made Pluto's hold on planet 9 status harder to defend.
