Alpha Centauri A and B have an average orbital separation of about 23 AU and a period of about 80 years. Approximately what is the sum of their masses? If we presume that Alpha Centauri A is a star like our Sun, what is Alpha Centauri B's mass?

M = a3 / P2 = 233 / 802 = 12167/6400 = 1.9 solar masses, with B being about 0.9 solar masses.
