A nearby galaxy has a radius of 4,000 million A.U. and rotates once every 800 million years. What is its mass in solar masses?

Using Kepler's third law, P2 = a3/(M + m), and using solar system units of years, AUs, and solar masses, the sum of the masses must be M + m = 1011 solar masses. The sum of the masses, in this case represents the total mass of the galaxy.
