Describe the effect of a capacitor-input filter on the output of a rectifier.
 
  A) Capacitor in series with load resistor will absorb large voltage variations
  B) Large capacitor in parallel with RL will reduce large voltage variations
  C) Small capacitor in parallel with the load resistor will absorb current variations
  D) Any size capacitor will smooth out voltage variations as long as it is in series with Rl

What is the difference between a full-wave rectifier usig a center-tapped transformer and a bridge full-wave bridge rectifier using a transformer with the same turns ratio?
 
  A) Center-tapped rectifier will deliver half the voltage that the bridge will deliver
  B) No difference, except small design configuration difference
  C) Center-tapped rectifier will deliver twice the output voltage
  D) Three diodes
