Answer to Question 1

This is true because the SUV has replaced the sedan. The SUV was originally
designed to be an off-road vehicle, not a family car. It has essentially replaced the family
car.

Answer to Question 2

The price of petroleum does not include the aforementioned things. If it did, it
would be much more expensive than now. Exclusive of military costs, many estimates put
the real cost of gasoline at around 5/gal.
