The right edge of the mirror is then lifted so that the mirror now makes a 5 angle with the horizontal. What is the resulting angle between the incident beam and the reflected beam?
 a. 25
  c. 35
  b. 20
  d. The angle is not given.

Question 2

A hot (70C) lump of metal has a mass of 250 g and a specific heat of 0.25 cal/gC. John drops the metal into a 500-g calorimeter containing 40 g of water at 20C. The calorimeter is constructed of a material that has a specific heat of 0.10 cal/ gC. When equilibrium is reached, what will be the final temperature? (cwater = 1.00 cal/gC.)
 a. 114C
  c. 40C
