Yes, solubility is a function of temperature. Increasing the temperature usually
increases the solubility of solids in liquids because of increased molecular activity.

Answer to Question 2

The solubility of a given solute is the amount of solute that will dissolve in a
specified volume of solvent (at a given temperature) to produce a saturated solution.
