A point charge Q1 = +6.0 nC is at the point (0.30 m, 0.00 m); a charge Q2 = -1.0 nC is at (0.00 m, 0.10 m), and a charge Q3 = +5.0 nC is at (0.00 m, 0.00 m).

What are the magnitude and direction of the net force on the +5.0-nC charge due to the other two charges? (k = 1/40 = 9.0  109 N  m2/C2 )

There can actually be a 25-hour time difference between certain locations in the world. The International Date Line passes between the islands of Samoa and American Samoa. It is not a straight line, but "zig-zags" around various island chains. Therefore, Samoa and nearby islands have one date, while American Samoa and nearby islands are one day behind. Daylight saving time is used in some islands, but not in others—further shifting the hours out of sync with natural time.
