The use of multisensory props, stories, or exercises can be helpful for children in helping them to understand concepts, attend to what is being done in group better, and easing them into talking. For clients with addictions, getting and keeping them interested might be an issue if the members are mandated to attend. The use of creative exercises can help members to break denial and connect better with one another.
