The Rameys constructed a 6-foot deep above ground swimming pool in their back yard. Two months after the pool is constructed, a city inspector stops by the Ramey's home. The inspector informs Mr. Ramey that the swimming pool is located too close to the property line and the fence surrounding the pool is too low, and therefore unsafe. He also asks Mr. Ramey to see his building permit. Mr. Ramey tells the inspector that he was not aware that he needed a permit. The inspector orders the Rameys to tear down the pool:
