Network security is breached when an unauthorized user obtains access to the network. It is also breached when someone who is an authorized user gets access to files to which he or she was previously denied access. There are many ways to protect the network from breach, the most important of which might be to establish and maintain a security protocol. The network administrator should establish passwords and a system to regularly change them. Antivirus and firewall protection is also an important security step.
