Answer to Question 1

Obviously, finding something requires knowing where it is located. We find people by looking for their home or business address or by their telephone number. The modern equivalent of a telephone number is the e-mail address. A Web page also has an address, known as a URL (uniform resource locator). The URL is made up of three parts, separated by the symbols shown:Protocol://Computer/Path The protocol is usually http (hypertext transfer protocol). The computer is the Internet computer name, such as www.bucks.edu. And the path is the directory or subdirectory on the computer where the information can be found. The URL may be thought of as a file cabinet. The protocol is the name of the file cabinet, the computer is the drawer in the file cabinet, and the path is the file folder in the drawer. Not all URLs have a path as part of the address.

Answer to Question 2

The Internet can be used to conduct legal and factual research. It can be used for electronic filing with those courts that permit or require electronic filing. It can be used to communication with clients via email.
