The world is becoming a global marketplace. The workforce and the customer base for every
type of business are increasing in diversity. Companies and individuals who do not recognize the
growing diversity and work to develop skills to effectively management will find their success
diminishing. The need for effectively managing and embracing diversity will increase in the
future, not decrease.
