Answer to Question 1

It is impossible to determine from the given information. If both companies had an inventory of 100 cars and both companies were open for 365 days/year, the answer would be Company W because:

Company W revenues = 56  100  365 = 2,044,000
Company V revenues = 42  100  365 = 1,533,000

If Company V had an inventory of 100 cars and Company W had an inventory of 70 cars (both open 365 days), the answer would be different because:

Company V revenues = 1,533,000
Company W revenues = 56  70  365 = 1,430,800

Answer to Question 2
