Answer to Question 1

It is the most significant and widely accepted view of how the mass media interact with society. It is
based upon the simple principle that the mass media do not tell the people what to think, but what to
think about. The major implication of this for public relations practitioners: Who tells the media
what to think about?

Physiological, safety, acceptance, self-esteem, and self-actualization.
