Answer to Question 1

In the context of public relations, it is the difference between one-way and two-way communication.
Persuasion is based upon finding shared values and interests that establish or maintain relationships.
Manipulation often involves telling half-truths or placing narrow interests ahead of broader ones in
pursuit of short-term goals. Manipulation, whether real or perceived, comes with a cost: credibility.

Answer to Question 2
