Answer to Question 1

the crime and are more rehabilitative. The programs range from community service
to substance abuse treatment, day reporting, hose arrest, electronic monitoring,
halfway house placement, and boot camps. They are usually imposed on nonviolent
or first-time offenders, and work to rehabilitate offenders and to deter them from
committing future crimes.
