Police are investigating a homicide of a 22-year-old female college student. The victim is nude and there are two knife wounds in the victim's chest. It appears the victim was sexually assaulted. During an examination of the victim, multiple cuts are clearly visible on the hands, including the palms and fingers.
  What do the wounds on the hands indicate?
